Serving as delegate, it is my duty to vote on behalf the club. We have discussed before regarding the votes. In the District Convention this time, not much to be discussed. There are no motion to be proposed so the ultimate agenda will be the election of Second Vice District Governor, First Vice District Governor and District Governor.
This year, the candidate of SVDG is only 1 Lion, so there will be yes or no vote. But the parade were quite cheerful and crowded. Then around 2pm, the vote begin. Somehow, we are back to vote using the paper ballot, taking the process around 2 hours to vote and count the result.
Can not imagine if the candidate of SVDG more than 1, the process will take more than 2 hours and full of tense. Anyway, finally the process is done. Let’s be happy with the result, celebrating the future leaders of our district.
