We are proud to have Past District Governor Evi Pohan as our member in LC Jakarta Monas Hang Tuah. During her time as District Governor 2020-2021, Lion Evi Pohan was remembered as a bold leader. Her goal being a leader, are not to please everyone, but yet she was willing to listen every inputs.
As the DG at that time, she made some breakthroughs such as below:
- Making the cabinet slim, eliminate unnecessary positions, including taking out the Region Chairperson position (the first DG that doing this in District 307 A1). Without the Region Chairpersons then the Zone Chairpersons need to work closely to DG, making the DG working harder but also closer to the clubs.
- Choosing a lot of new persons in many positions, making the future DGs have much more candidates for the next cabinet.
- Even in the Covid-19 era, DG Evi Pohan encourage clubs to help others but keep maintaining Covid-19 protocol.
- When the Multi District Committee decided to cancel the National Convention, DG Evi Pohan brought this issue to be discussed with some of her cabinet members. As the result, DG Evi Pohan made a special cabinet meeting to approve the hybrid District Convention.
- She held the 1st hybrid District Convention and the 1st online election to vote next district leaders. This online vote were managed by 3rd party that experienced in conducting national leaders in Indonesia.
